Apple has released the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 update for all users. The update had been in beta for a while, and marks the official debut of the new Photos app. The Photos app was originally announced at the WWDC ( Worldwide Developers Conference) in June 2014, but has only been made available almost a year later. The Photos app will allow you to browse through your photo albums easily through various tabs (Photos, Shared, Albums, and Projects) and viewing options (Moments, Collections, and Years). The app stores your images and videos in their original format and resolution the iCloud Photo Library. It has cross device synchronization with iCloud accounts, i.e, you can use the iCloud Library from any Apple device (Mac, iPod, iPad, or iPhone) directly from the device’s web browser. You will still find both apps in your Applications folder, if you previously had the apps installed on your Mac. However, any changes made to files using either apps will no be reflect in the Photos app, and vice-versa. Look Up, the gesture based search feature, now displays suggestions from Spotlight, which includes results from iTunes. Apple has updated its broswer Safari by patching some bugs.
